I made my Sephora purchase a week ago. Once the 5 free lippie samples with any purchase offer was out, I placed my order right away because I knew some popular ones would be gone fast.

I bought Make Up For Ever Artist Shadow Custom Eyeshadow Palette for $1 + used free Flash 2-day Shipping.

Here are the samples I got. Instead of getting 5 samples, I received 4. I didn’t receive the YSL and Sephora Collection lipstick samples that I chose. The MUFE foundation sample is a replacement.

I emailed Sephora and complained. Sephora gave me 25 points to make up for the samples I didn’t get. All in all, I am happy with my $1 Sephora purchase!

My Mario Badescu Hand Cream review

I bought this Mario Badescu Hand Cream(4 oz for $8) from Nordstrom and used it all up. I like it being lightweight and moisturizing. The scent is nice but also could be a bit strong to some of you. I prefer to use it before going to bed. And, it’s affordable.

2 things I don’t like about it:

  • it’s in a jar. Now you can find this in a tube at Ulta for $8, but 1 oz less.
  • I just found out that it contains paraben.

Will I buy it again? Most likely NOT.

I am tempted to get the Finishing powder SPF25, after the 40% off, it’s $13.2! SPF25 is a big plus, but don’t rely on that for sun protection.

I always like bareMinerals loose powder. When I use a slightly damped beautyblender sponge to apply the foundation powder, it gives me a great finish! However, I use the brush more often, since it’s quicker!

My Jack Black Lip Balm review + My today’s Sephora purchase

I am currently using this Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm SPF 25(Shea Butter & Vitamin E). It’s almost empty and I am still squeezing every little bit of it out of the tube.

I recommend it! It got SPF25 and is moisturizing and keeps my lips moisturized for a good time.

Now you can get the foil sample or deluxe size sample with code SUPERBALM. But, I’d say just to choose the higher value sample instead since the full size is only $7! Just buy the full size to try it!

The following picture is what I got today at Sephora online store. I bought the MUFE Eyeshadow Trio Palette. I paid $1 + tax + Flash 2-day free shipping. I have MUFE duo palette and am happy with the quality. I have the trio palette in my Love List for a while and waited for the right moment to order!

My guess, if you add all these free lippie samples altogether, that’s almost a full size lipstick there!
