I write this post because I found two new elf products I absolutely love and want to share this with you?
- the Ultimate Kabuki Brush(paid $3.20 each) – super super super soft, very large, I use it to apply finishing powder, pick up a lot of products! Enjoying using this on my face, so calming! I bought another 2, now I have 3!
- and the Silicone Glitter Applicator(paid $0.96 each) – now this is my must have to apply my Butter London Glazen Eye Gloss. It gives me good control to put on the eye gloss and I don’t even need to use my fingertips! I don’t use fingertips to retrieve the eye gloss from the jar. I bought another 8, now I have 10! I throw it into ‘to wash’ cup once it’s used. Tip: use one flat side to dab on the gloss and another clean flat side to blend, use fingertips to blend as last step if you have to.

My 3 fan shaped blending brushes – Sephora Collection, e.l.f. and NYX
I’d like to show you my 3 fan-shaped blending brushes – their looks, sizes, and my thoughts. It might help some of you decide which one to buy.
- SEPHORA COLLECTION Pro Full Coverage Airbrush #53XL – $25, reg. $45
- e.l.f. Beautifully Bare Blending Brush – $1.92 at elf, reg. $6
- NYX Pro Fan Brush – $16.99
I mainly use them to apply liquid foundation.
They are all good brushes, but among the three, I like the e.l.f. Beautifully Bare Blending Brush the best. It performs just as well as the other 2 and so much cheaper. Very soft. I like this smaller size better than the large Sephora 53XL because it gives better control.
SEPHORA COLLECTION Pro Full Coverage Airbrush #53XL – gets the job done fast and effortlessly, it has the most expensive feel among the three. If you like that luxury feel, then go for this one! Is it a must-have? Not for me, but it’s nice to have and I do enjoy using it.
NYX Pro Fan Brush – I think the elf and Sephora brushes are better in applying liquid foundation than this NYX fan brush. But it’s very versatile, you may also use it for highlighting, contouring and applying finishing powder. It has high-end feel, well built, picks up more highlighting powder than a thin fan brush. Get it when Ulta has NYX buy 1 get 1 sale.
