The Gucci mascara sample is sold out but the Laura Mercier eye color stick is still available! I quite like the Dior lip sampler. The Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer is a foil instead of a tube as shown on the GWP page. The free Laura Mercier eye color stick is the main reason of my purchase! The full size is 0.05 oz for $29, the sample size is 0.03 oz, a $17.4 value!! I love her eyeshadow sticks! They are easy to work with and stay put for a long period of time. You can also use the dark shades as eyeliner and they don’t smear!

My REN Satin Perfection BB Cream Sunscreen review

Ren Skincare sent me their REN Satin Perfection BB Cream Sunscreen($38 at Sephora) to try out. Review is not required on my blog.

I finished this tube completely and like this product! It is a lightweight and skin friendly BB cream. I treat all the BB cream as lightweigt foundation with bonus of sunscreen. I don’t use BB cream alone as a moisturizer or sunscreen lotion becuase the amount you need for BB cream is just not enough as sunscreen and moisturizer.ren bb cream.JPGren bb cream 2.JPG

Pros:

  • It is silicone-free and a mineral suncreen(SPF15) lotion!
  • Lightweight and very sheer. It won’t hide away your freckles but will even out your skin tone and give you a natural finish. Good for summer use.

Cons:

  • Only one shade
  • SPF is not high enough, I wish SPF30 or higher
  • Texture is a bit uneven, shake before use
