My BH Cosmetics purchase + free gift + brush reviews

I made my BH Cosmetics purchase in the mid of February. Here is my previous post about this deal.

Since I have used most of these brushes, now I can give you a quick review.

For how much you pay for, I recommend them! They are so affordable and have decent quality.

Smokey Eye Essential – 7 Piece Brush Set 

I absolutely LOVE this eyeshadow brush set! I highly recommend it to all my readers! They are so soft, smooth, and easy to work! These are good quality brushes, no shedding, no manufacture smell!

I like them better than my Sigma eyeshadow brushes! I’ve been using them almost daily! I will repurchase this set and buy more eyeshadow brushes from BH!

Sculpt and Blend – 10 Piece Brush Set

I made the purchase mainly for this set. I was aware how much I pay for it so I was not expecting Sigma brush quality, and they are not. Although Sigma brushes are 10 times more expensive than the BH Cosmetics brushes, they are not 10 times better in quality and performance.

The quality of these brushes is uneven. They got some manufacture smell but mostly went away after the first wash. They are soft but not as firm as the Sigma brushes. I haven’t experienced any shedding from this set. But, do you see those little black hair stuck out of the bristle in the following face brush? It doesn’t effect the softness and performance, but I don’t like that.

The following tapered contouring brush is a good one. The following 5 brushes are small blending brushes. I have a set of Sigma just like that. The Sigma ones are bigger and got better quality. The BH ones are still good and I am happy to have a smaller version.

Blending Face Trio – 3 Piece Brush Set

I bought this set mostly for the fan brush but it sheds. It’s soft but not super soft.

The foundation brush got a high quality feel and look. I enjoy using it. It’s as good as a brush priced 10x more!

Here is the free eyeshadow palette. Pretty! I haven’t used it but am looking forward to it!
