My sample review: Clarins Beauty Flash Balm

This Clarins Beauty Flash Balm is a free sample with a purchase. I finished this tube and I won’t buy the full size which is $48 at Sephora.

You tap it on your face as a primer or moisturizer, no rubbing. I tried both ways. I am not that impressed. The scent is a bit strong to me. It didn’t irritate my skin but didn’t do much improvement either. It’s even peeling sometimes. I did finish the whole tube since it’s still moisturizing and pricey.

I personally suggest you get SPF50 than SPF30. The powder is less protective than cream, the higher SPF the better. However, the powder is much easier to reapply.

I actually just finished this concealer sample. It lasted quite a long time. I use it as under eye concealer.

The full size is $70. It got 475 reviews and 4.5 stars at Nordstrom. Very good and popular! But I don’t think I will buy the full size, not anytime soon. Too expensive. I can get something that achieves the same good result but costs much much less. It’s easy to blend but a little bit drying.
