My sample review: Clarins Beauty Flash Balm

This Clarins Beauty Flash Balm is a free sample with a purchase. I finished this tube and I won’t buy the full size which is $48 at Sephora.

You tap it on your face as a primer or moisturizer, no rubbing. I tried both ways. I am not that impressed. The scent is a bit strong to me. It didn’t irritate my skin but didn’t do much improvement either. It’s even peeling sometimes. I did finish the whole tube since it’s still moisturizing and pricey.

Recently I bought one from Ulta for $64, full price! If you follow my blog you know it came with a lot of free gifts so I am not returning mine. Just hope Costco will keep on carrying this product with such a good price.

I personally suggest you get SPF50 than SPF30. The powder is less protective than cream, the higher SPF the better. However, the powder is much easier to reapply.
